MHT CET 2026 Application Form

MHT CET is held for admission into Engineering or Pharmacy courses in various government and private colleges of Maharashtra. The application process includes registration, filling the personal and academic details, uploading documents, and paying the application fee. The online application form is now available at cetcell.mahacet.org. The Maharashtra CET Cell has started the online registration, which will end on February 12, 2026.

MHT CET 2026 Exam Date

The MHT CET 2026 Exam will held in Computer Based Test mode for both PCB and PCM groups with an exam time duration of 3 hours. The exam will be held in two session from 09:00 am to 12:00 pm and 02:00 pm to 05:00 pm. Exam dates for Maharashtra Common Entrance Test 2026 has been announced along with the notification. As as per the schedule, the MHT CET Exam 2026 will be held from April 11 to 19, 2026 for PCM groups and from May 10 to 17, 2026 for PCB groups.

Note: On the exam day for the first and second session, aspirants will have to report at the respective exam centre by 07:30 am and 12:30 pm, respectively.

Exam Pattern

State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra will conduct the MHT CET exam for PCB and PCM group in online CBT mode. The test comprises three core areas, Physical, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) and each section consist of 50 questions, while the PCB Group consists of 200 Questions (100 from Biology and 50 each from Physics & Chemistry)

MHT CET 2026 Eligibility

Candidates must meet the certain eligibility criteria to apply for the MHT Common Entrance Test 2026 for PCB and PCM group.

Educational QualificationEngineering: Students should have passed the Intermediate or equivalent exam with PCM (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics) group.

Pharmacy: Students must have passed the 10+2 or equivalent exam Exam with PCB (Physics, Chemistry & Biology) group

10+2 appearing students can also apply
Age LimitThere is no age limit for applicant

Application Fee

During the online application, individual are required to pay the required application fee as per their category. The application fee is ₹1300 (for general category) and ₹1000 for reserved category such as OBC, SC, ST, and PwD.

Note: Payment can be made only through net banking/Credit Card/Debit Card/Mobile wallets. The fee is non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstances.

Steps to apply for MHT CET 2026?

The registration can be online on the official website. The step-by-step instructions to apply for MHT CET 2026 described below.

  • Visit the official website of Maharashtra CET Cell: cetcell.mahacet.org.
  • Look for the link that reads ‘MHT CET 2026’ and click on it.
  • Click on New Candidates Registration option.
  • Enter basic details, mobile number and email ID.
  • Upon registration, login using credentials.
  • Fill out the application form by submitting required information.
  • Upload photograph and signature in prescribed format.
  • Pay the registration fee as per your category.
  • Cross-check the details and click on submit button.
  • Save and download the form for future references.
